Review on Good Hair Days Grip Tuth Shorty by Duane Mejia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is more important than quantity. Nothing else compares to fine hair.

I don't like paying $6.95 for a hair comb and I think the premium is high. However, nothing else compares. . You don't do false advertising. You will receive ONE hairbrush. That's all. That's what the ad says. For flat, thin hair, this works MIRACLES. I use these combs for both styling and blow drying, and as a last resort I leave them on because they add about an inch of volume and are almost invisible. The CLEAR SHORTY version works best if you use this as an "instant" root boost. You don't have to comb your back. Just plug it in where you need a natural "lift". Came back here to order another short comb (my dog just chewed on one and I CANNOT live without them). I have a collection of about 10, so I spent about $60 on stupid plastic. From a cost-benefit point of view, however, it is worth it. Saves my hair from being combed back for volume. Also saves about 20 or 30 minutes of styling time. If you have thick, textured hair with a lot of volume, this comb probably won't do you any good. If you have thin or slippery hair, this is a game changer. NOTE: For some reason, the crisp handle feels more robust than the same "short" brown comb version. I have both and can tell a definite difference in the material (may have to change one of my other reviews based on this observation).

Pros
  • KEEP YOUR HAIR IN POSITION - When using the Grip Tuth side comb, your hair is secured over the mating teeth which act like a 'flexible spring'. Your hair cannot slide past the touching teeth.
Cons
  • Senior Citizen
