Review on LOGITECH G G815 Lightspeed Tactile Carbon: Ultimate Gaming Peripherals for Enhanced Gaming Experience by Nguyn Quang Long ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

The switches are Kailh PG1350, not Logitech, but sort of tweaked a bit, says Logitech's general product manager in an interview. There are cheaper keyboards with such switches, for example Modecom Volcano Blade (tactile is brown). The keyboard is incredibly wide, I would have preferred the TKL version, but it is only available for the G915 wireless keyboard, which already costs just obscene money.

Pros
  • The buttons are extremely pleasant to press, it’s very convenient that the keyboard is low profile - I wanted just that, with a small key travel, because I’m used to the MacBook keyboard.
Cons
  • When pressed, the tab key crunches, perhaps because I press it with my little finger, and a little at an angle, due to the location of this key. This is a little annoying because the tab key is very important for programmers. The nearby caps key is pressed normally. The 2022 letters are located rather strangely, next to the Latin ones, but this is due to the backlighting device in the switches: only the upper part of the key is highlighted. In principle, you quickly get used to it, besides, I mostly type blindly.
