This is a good basic 24 inch monitor with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Assembling the stand is literally a breeze, the base parts just snap together without tools. Then just plug in the power cord and the supplied HDMI cable and you're done. The power, menu, and other control buttons are on the lower right side of the back of the monitor, as is the power LED. I actually prefer the monitor control buttons on the bottom, but they're easy to find without going behind the monitor Colors and brightness are set in the menu, which seems pretty standard. I didn't have to change any settings in the menu. I found the picture quality to be as good or even better than my other mainstream 1080 x 1920 24-inch monitors. I also didn't experience any problems with video playback on this monitor. Again, it was as good or better than comparable monitors. The bezel around the screen is very narrow on the sides and quite thin on the bottom compared to other monitors. Obviously this monitor is not designed to compete with higher resolution monitors and more expensive monitors, but it is very competitive compared to other monitors of this size and resolution. I have this monitor in my home office and am very happy with this monitor. 5 stars for a great monitor.
