I recently bought a gaming computer and smart TV and wanted a USB adapter box to connect my computer to the TV which is about 10 meters away. I bought a pair of transceivers to tunnel HDMI and USB signals over Ethernet, but wanted the flat cable to run under the carpet outside the patio doors. This ethernet cable proved to be the perfect solution. It can easily control the bandwidth of the transmitter and receiver units as a Category 8 cable, and because it is a flat cable, it does not cause jarring under the mat. Overall I am very happy with the performance of this cable. I am particularly pleased that there is a USB hub installed in the armrest of my sofa, which allows me to connect my devices to my computer, which is 10 meters away from me! Now I'm starting to like flat cables.
