Review on Kaisiking 2mm / 3mm x 25M Phone Repair Tape with LCD Touch Screen Adhesive - Ideal for Cell Phones, iPads, Tablets, Laptops, Cameras by Rud Starks

I replaced the digitizer on my Nintendo Switch and originally used black glue that was supposed to be from 3M. But it was terrible. The roll wasn't well protected, it was bent and in danger of falling apart, and the adhesive wasn't strong enough that my screen came off in less than a day. What was glued pulled off easily with a suction cup, no heat required. However, this material is very durable. I removed the digitizer, applied this glue and started putting the digitizer back on. I had a digitizer but didn't bother to put it on properly when I realized I had made a mistake and had to remove the digitizer again. But by now it was very well glued, just as good as OEM glue. I had to disassemble the heat gun to remove the digitizer. I'm sure this glue will stick and hold the display with no problem. The rollers themselves are perfectly straight and properly protected with non-stick plastic on both sides. A very nice surprise is that you get BOTH a 3mm wide and 2mm wide roll which is perfect for the Switch as some areas need 2mm tape and others 3mm. Since the tape is transparent, it's also much easier to see where it hasn't bonded properly. 100% recommended.
