Almost perfect except for one.

I've been using a straight razor for a year or two and I've finally gotten pretty good at it. As any of you who use it know, it's a skill and a process. Anyone who says it's easy to take as a disposable is a liar or a nutcase lol. I really wish it was easier or cheaper to find an old school one-piece razor that can be sharpened. I understand it's hygiene but it's just for me but it's ok. That being said I've tried a lot of razors with disposable blades and without going super high end as you know the shaving and beard world could do, this is one of the best for the money. The blades are a bit difficult to load. the first few times. Since you need to pull the vertical back panel, open it horizontally. Then separate the two panels and place the blade on the raised slots, join the panels and close the back panel. If you do this a few times you will be fine. Quality at the highest level. I like its black coated look and it feels solid in hand. This advantage is also its only disadvantage. Since it's built to last, it's actually pretty heavy. I don't mean heavy lifting, it's a lot less than a pound. But due to the weight of the handle it's uncomfortable to hold and for me it reduces control. If it were a little lighter, or the weight was more evenly balanced, it would be pretty damn near perfect. It feels like the end of the blade is weightless and the handle is very heavy. That minor complaint aside, however, you can change your technique a bit and get used to it. I have a beard and it cleans my cheek lines really well. When I was clean shaven I can tell you it worked great. I even used it on my head to trim my hair and it worked great. I've always wanted to be a hairstylist, so I'm training on myself and saving money on my haircut. Sometimes laugh. I'm not talking about lol. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
