That's fine if you don't mind losing cup holder space.

Once installed in the cup holder, it becomes durable. Insomt like anything near my vent or dash mounted so I tried that as it keeps the phone next to me for access. But after a while I found it unnecessary and would have liked two cup holders. If my car had three cup holders, maybe this one would stay.
