So my husband is celebrating his 30th birthday in quarantine. Not the best starting position. We also had a baby just a week ago which was the best experience of our lives but we found out he has a chronic illness that really shocked the world. I wanted to show my husband how much I appreciate him and all his support during these crazy times and ordered these balloons for him as a surprise. I went to the store to inflate them, brought them home in a big plastic bag and when I showed them to my husband there were 38 instead of 30. While I understand it's not a big deal, after a week we had too a roller coaster of emotions where we were i just broke down and cried. Moral of the story, even if they're boxed and marked 30, open them up and double-check to make sure you don't miss the day.
