Review on Blazer C48AW Amber Strobe Light by Charles Fowler

Revainrating 2 out of 5

6th application in 9 months = death. edge wiring and soldering. Circuit board component died.

Loved at first and seemed functional, on/off switch is a plus although the light is not as bright as I would like. It really should be brighter for daytime use. And the cable should be longer. There is a hard segment between the cigarette lighter and where it is applied to the roof. But I liked the first one, the price was right, so I bought the second and third so I can have one in every car. Firstly, if you get stuck somewhere and in winter when you have to park on the side of the road while the snow is being cleared, the city forces you onto the curb and into the driveway before you can stop. Wanted to use an orange traffic light to park in an alley with a large (rented) equipment trailer. This will be about the 6th time in 9 months that I have used this light as a homeowner. No light. Try again. Try again. Either the machine or the fuse. Tried different cars. The same thing. I checked out the insides. The fuse is OK. The wire is fine. light is ok Something on the board is dead. The wiring and soldering in the connector is of poor quality. Super thin wires. Extremely soldered. The insulation of the green wire that runs from the fused positive to the switch was pinched in several places. Let's see how the Blazer handles the warranty as I thought it was covered by a 1 year warranty but now I can't find the one listed.

Cons
