Great truck for the little ones. Very durable. Buy 5200mah 2s lipos for about 30 minutes working time. EC3 connectors. Standard battery 🔋 lasts 8 to 10 minutes. I installed a Traxxas front bumper and a Traxxas Hoss rear bumper. Just so there is more protection when the toddler is within range of the receiver lol. They make aftermarket parts that you can buy, but I just used what was in my parts basket. The only thing that worries me is this; Shock oil is too thick for a light truck like (granite loading) and makes the truck bounce all over the yard with every bump. So lighten the oil and the suspension actually works fine for what it is. On the 2s lipo I went from 20 to 23 mph, fast enough for a little one. Great if you don't want to hand your $400-$800 RC truck a controller. This is from 3 to 5 hundred dollars 💵 RC. NO, but for $100 this is an amazing truck for little ones, any young adult or newbie to the hobby. This is a great starter RC to have fun and enjoy without breaking the bank. In conclusion, I think ARRMA nailed it with a $99.00 2WD Granite Voltage. In my opinion the best purchase in this price range 👌.
