SUITABLE FOR KITTENS Best in Scratching Posts

You should know that this cat scratching post is tiny! We love it. We use scratching posts of this size in our foster kennels. This gives mom a chance to scratch her claws and let the kittens play. It also increases the surface area within the cell. They have always been popular when we put them in cages. I would not recommend such a scratching post for an adult cat. They just can't stretch to their full size to do their job. But we love it for kitties. This model has a few specific advantages and disadvantages: BENEFITS: - Wooden top. The tree lasts longer because there is no soil cushion. The same goes for the lack of fabric on the base. - There are two hanging toys! And they connect in such a way that new ones can be hung up in the future - An extra scratching post at the base is good for small kittens and adult cats - The wooden top is cute CONS: - The top is made of wood, so the perch is less comfortable. Hanging toys are short lived. While you can fix the hull part, if the base breaks you can never fix it. VERDICT: All in all a good choice, just know your options.
