I had an arthroscopy on my right shoulder a few months ago. Anyone who has had this or anything similar knows that shoulders take a very, very long time to heal and sleep can be extremely difficult. I'm opioid resistant and can't just knock myself out; they just support me. For several months I could only sleep on my left side until someone told me that this pillow would change my life. It helps. I still can't start the night on my back because any pressure on the back of my shoulder capsule when I'm tired is uncomfortable, padded or not. I can often roll over onto my back after a few hours and now mostly wake up on my back. This wedge appears to be of value for other practical purposes as well.
