These speakers sound great in marine environments. I just replaced them on my Ranger Bass Boat and Revain prices are excellent compared to some other online retailers. Solid bass and sweet highs - perfect for the water! Installation was easy. Two things to help you with the installation: 1) When drilling speaker holes, start with a smaller diameter (smaller drill diameter) than Pioneer recommends to allow the screws to tighten and adhere to the fiberglass. 2) The speaker terminals on Pioneer speakers are different sizes for positive and negative (another reviewer also mentioned this below). I crimped my existing speaker wire connectors with pliers (go slow and take your time) and made them smaller to fit Pioneer. Of course you can always buy smaller connectors and re-solder them. Hope this helps you - overall - a very useful update! PS One thing to remember. when you evaluate how they really sound. Make sure you're using a quality music source like a streaming service (Spotify) or a FLAC track if possible. FM radio just doesn't do it justice. Garbage in, garbage out. hope that helps!
