Double layers = annoying!

I was very upset to learn that most of these washi tapes are double layered. So first off, you actually get less product than you think. It looks like a full roll but that's because you look at the perimeter of the washi tape and then at the adhesive backing. Another annoying part of a sticky lid is that it's awkward to use and always awkward to store. Of course, you can pull out the extra piece and secure the end with tape, but if you're using it for journaling, it's easier not to mess around with all that mess.
