I chose this mouse to replace the dying G700, which served for 8 years, and I will say that it is very good. It is lighter and smaller than my old one, but it fits perfectly in my hand. I cannot say that the optical sensor on the 16000 is superior to the laser sensor on the 5000 G700, such high resolutions are essentially not in demand anyway, and the positioning accuracy is the same for me. I have high hopes for the switches, let's see how long they work without a double click, the manufacturer especially praises them. Many scold the scroll wheel for creaking, but this is not a dual-mode wheel in the G700, but it suits me perfectly, it makes a slight sound, but I don’t consider it critical. On a scale of 10, I can safely give 8 to this mouse.
