I bought it and then returned it. I wanted to mount my iPad on a camera tripod to record videos. The most important feature is stability, so you can rest assured that your $300+ device won't fall 5 feet to the ground. This mount is a good idea, but very poorly implemented. The whole device is very thin and looks more like a cradle that would probably fit a phone nicely. The top of the mount that attaches to the iPad is a ball and socket. However, every part is made of plastic. The annoying thing is that if you try to actually tighten the mount to stop your iPad from moving, the threads get pulled off and you feel a "pop" and then it's useless. You should make a quality mounting bushing or just stick with a standard swingarm that looks like it's designed to properly support the weight of the iPad.
