Like many other reviewers, I have a long and colorful history with Buf Puf, probably dating back to its introduction. Since I was an acne-prone young adult at the time, they kept my acne under control better than any topical medication available at the time. They have kept my skin smooth and glowing over the years. A few years ago, local retail outlets practically dried up, even in the metropolitan areas where I live. I think they've fallen out of favor with the flood of professional microdermabrasion treatments and new topical treatments I've tried a few. However, I can honestly say that I am currently not aware of any product or procedure that gives better results for the dollars spent and luckily they are now available online. The Buf Body Scrub with its two surfaces is the perfect solution for general exfoliation. The white finish should be soft enough for everyone except extremely sensitive skin, while the blue finish is for rougher areas like elbows, knees, and feet. Figuring out the right amount of pressure for your skin type can take time, but your face and body will look and feel a whole lot better with this effort. I just did some calculations and came to the conclusion that I've been using Buf Puf for over 40 years now. I think that gives me the right to speak about their quality and effectiveness.
