I love this product! I've been using it for years instead of paying someone else to do it, so it saves money too! Easy to use and better than its competitors. You get a better grip with the bellabe design, it's a bit addicting but in a good way. A few tips: wash and exfoliate your face before use, then apply an anti-acne serum to prevent breakouts. Like other hair removal procedures, this can cause temporary redness, but it goes away quickly (less than an hour for me). I use it before my nightly shower so the steam will help remove any residue left in my hair follicles like environmental irritants or bodies. I do not recommend using this on the same day as an event that requires makeup. When you remove your hair, your pores become more open, making them more susceptible to infection. It has been more beneficial for me to make this a nightly routine (twice a month) as my face heals while I sleep. I've found this habit to help prevent whiteheads/rashes caused by hair removal. You shouldn't have any swelling, but if you do, cold water or ice will help!
