it's not an improvement for me

I've been using a Panasonic cordless iron for over 10 years and I'm very satisfied. The plastic cover on the on/off button broke with use and I bought this new iron "just in case" mine stopped working. The new iron has a similar non-stick coating and heats up faster. But I don't understand that it has 2 pointed ends. I think the difference in the interface isn't much bigger, so I'm wondering why that was done. With a pointed "rear" end, he won't stand up. I use distilled water in a 1 gallon bottle. When I want to fill the tank, I can't stand it on the rim to fill it. The tank will also not stand on its own. So I have to take it off the iron and hold it in one hand while trying to pour it out of a heavy container with the other. Someone who actually irons didn't design it with care. I like the iron, I'm just very disappointed with how inconvenient it will be to charge. I kept putting it off, but it's such a bad idea that I wanted others to know before buying. The iron also has 2 steam settings and the steam can be turned off when not in use, so I think it's a good idea to save water while it's idle.

Pros
  • it's amazing
Cons
  • some bugs
