I'm very glad I found this. I looked but couldn't believe it. Now I'm in seventh heaven with happiness. That's the real thing guys. It can of course be used as paracord, but inside is a thick red thread that is highly flammable - perfect for starting a fire. Actually I cut off a short piece to test it. It ignited immediately and burned well. Really good. I went over to light the end of the original cord with a lighter and the thing caught fire. I had to press a lighter against it to put it out. It took me about three tries before I felt it wasn't wearing off because it was trying to burn out all the time. You'll have enough to put in your backpack and make it worth carrying, but I use a few feet to make a lanyard for my EDC knife. A practical thing, but maybe worth its weight in gold in a bad situation.
