Review on 🎧 JVC Xtreme-Xplosivs HAFX1X Headphones by Karen Nahm ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality of the product, especially for the money.

Acquired after more than two years of using Sennheiser Street 180 (changed them every six months due to breakdowns). I turned on these JVCs and, in general, the first thought was to throw them to hell. The sound is like in a saucepan. Horror. I decided that a fake was purchased, but after reading the reviews, I found out that some characters recommend warming them up for some time at full volume. I used prodigy 2022 and underworld 2022 for this, after 3-4 sessions for several hours it seemed to me that the sound was like as it got better, I changed slightly the settings in the player (sansa clip + rockbox). The other day I turned on the old sinhas and realized that they completely lose to this JVC. of the significant minuses is the massiveness of the headphones themselves (they do not sit very comfortably in the ear and slightly rub the auditory canal), the inelasticity of the wire (it seems that it slightly began to loosen the connector in the player). With a decrease in air temperature, the problem of the elasticity of the wires became even more acute, they stick out like a stake and the pancake falls out. The sound never ceases to please. after the onset of cold weather, the wire sheath burst, where it enters the earpiece, and naturally, after a while, the wire itself broke and the sound disappeared. The end. six months have passed. I lowered all the ratings by a point, I will not return to such headphones again.

Pros
  • sound, build quality, price
Cons
  • massiveness, not the best ergonomics
