Ideal for protecting your iPad if you have a screen protector. My son dropped an iPad from a shopping cart and the only thing that cracked was the screen protector. I would have preferred a case with a screen protector attached, like the old Otter case, but this case has protected the iPad from my son's countless drops. So I am very happy with this item. It's also easy for my 2 year old son to hold. He doesn't like using the stand. So I can't say much on this subject.
