Review on πŸš— Dorman 955-1444 Passenger Side Power Door Mirror - Compatible with Various Toyota Models by James Nielsen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works, mostly good for parts

As other reviewers have noted, it has a 3 pin connector while the heated version has a 6 pin connector. Not sure if the extra contacts are for heated mirrors. After I connected the connectors (you can snap the 3-wire connector into the top half of the OEM 6-wire connector - there is no need to splice the wires and the wire colors match the original mirror), the mirror turned on and off, but not in and out. However, it was a huge improvement (the old mirror lost the folding lock and slipstream just folded it with speed), it fit well and wasn't that difficult to replace. The only real problem was getting the wire in the door properly. I had to cut the rubber around the bottom stud post as it didn't go through a hole in the door panel and prevented the underside of the mirror from being seated and seated properly.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Big and bulky
