I bought this eyeshadow on a whim from my local pharmacy and am now obsessed with it! I usually wear darker brown smoky shadows, but they always fade throughout the day. This chocolate suede color is stunning and stays in place ALL day with no sign of fading. The twist top jar and the consistency of the eyeshadows are very similar to lip gloss/sticks which come in a similar container. The color is rich chocolate with a subtle hint of very subtle gold shimmer (NO glitter). I find it easiest to apply shadows with my finger and with the rest of my fingers I blend them from bottom to top for a more saturated shade. Smokey eye look. It doesn't stick together in the creases of the eyes at all, it washes off easily (both from fingers and in the shower). You can also put the usual loose shadows over it to create an outline effect. My eyeliner glides easily over these shadows. I highly recommend this product and will be buying it for years to come. I've attached photos to show the color and smokey eye effect for reference. *** UPDATE -- 12/31/16 *** I've been using this eyeshadow every day for a little over 2 months. still absolutely LOVE it! I hardly dent the jar so I expect 1 jar to last a very long time. I've had many compliments on the color and it really does last ALL day. There is also no sign of "drying" of the product. Again, I highly recommend this product.
