Beautiful but wrecked right out of the package

They are very pretty, sparkly, and feel sturdy--this is why I gave any stars. However, one ball looks like a marbled cheap plastic rather than solid metal, and another came with the coating peeling off the bar (see photo). TL;DR, I'm not sticking these in my piercing.
