I have not used for lipsticks. Bought to store gel polishes. I do a gel manicure at home. I needed a case to store gel nail polishes. I needed a little more than a tray to keep them from falling out and rolling around in my bag that holds my UV lamp and other supplies. That was excellent. It has adjustable dividers so I can adjust it for large and small bottles which allows me to fully customize the organizer. It is very well made with good details. I will be buying a second one as my polishes have expanded. It is strong enough to be stackable. It also looks great on a countertop or dresser. It looks like a box with soft walls. Very good product.
