Not for short hair
I had never used a flat iron before and was hesitant to go down that route, but I read a few reviews from people who had the same concerns and said it wasn't a problem. After using this for two months I think it probably applies to those with long hair but for those of us with shorter hair (chin length in my case) I didn't find it that easy to use and burned his hand three times. once. They offer a glove but if you switch the iron from hand to hand it doesn't always work. And I really don't want to wear gloves to curl my hair. That being said, the curling iron heats up quickly and has adjustable heat settings, and as I said, they're probably great for those with long hair. Unfortunately I missed the return window but would definitely go back if I could.
