I always apply lotion after showering, but I usually notice that the pimples only go away a few hours after a bath/shower. With this body gel, my pimples are still noticeably reduced after 24 hours. My skin feels hydrated and isn't flaky or ashy. I highly recommend this product. Actually only bought it because I ran out of another shower gel and am very positively surprised by the result.
