Good first. The color of this coat is really beautiful. The fabric is soft, does not rustle when walking. It's also water repellent (at least in light rain - I haven't left the house for a very long time). The cuffs on the wrists are nice and snug, so the cold air doesn't blow up your sleeves. Has a good pocket configuration. Two on the waist, two on the chest, one inside. The length is about mid-thigh. I'm 5'4, 115 pounds. My waist is as tight as possible, there's still room for a sweater. I was comfortable and warm, but full disclosure: my part of the world had a very warm winter last year. Now for the bad. First my photos. Not great, sorry. I just took the coat out of the box and it was a little wrinkled. Now for the hood problem. Judging by my photos, it's quite big. The fur trim is held in place by 5 buttons instead of a zipper, creating large gaps between the trim and the hood itself. With the panel removed, the hood is still very large. I'll do some fancy stitching to make it fit. It doesn't have a two-way zip. Some coats of this length have 2 zipper pullers on the same zipper. This allows you to zip up one top and slightly unzip the other by opening the zip tape slightly, leaving some legroom. So I have to pull my coat over my hips while driving to be comfortable. Otherwise I am satisfied with the coat.
