First of all, this lens cap is in two parts. A main body that fits over the camera and a second front piece that hinges to the main body to cover the camera. The biggest downside is the hinge and latch. The plastic pins inside the cover are not long enough to hook into the holes in the main body, causing the front cover to fall off easily. Second, the main body is not fixed on top of the camera. Basically, if you lift the cover when everything is in place, the front cover will fall along with the other part that should rest on top of the camera. What a waste and bad design. A small piece of double-sided adhesive can hold the top in place to attach it to the camera, but the hinge mechanism needs to be a little sturdier and snap properly. There is too much tolerance when it snaps, causing it to fall off immediately. What a waste of money. The thing should cost a maximum of three dollars.
