Great cloak apart from the misplaced/deformed buttonhole on sleeve

This sherpa cloak is really soft and warm and looks great but the quality isn't the best. I liked the burgundy color (at least from the photo) but it's sooooo 'Mrs. Klaus" that I got purple because I wanted something I could wear in October or January without looking out of place. And purple is a great color. Very rich. This is a heavy coat. You might think that the ground is so loose and open that it drafts, but the heat rises and the cold falls so the cold doesn't really penetrate the cape. It's very, very warm for outdoor use. I wanted something I could quickly put on for going out, whether it's just for a few minutes or to walk the dog, and this really fits that need. I like its fit, feel and weight. And it's big enough. I usually buy clothes in 2X maybe even 3X which is too much for me. My only complaint is that one of the buttonholes for creating the "sleeve" is far from where it should be. I had to hunt and hunt to even find him. It was partially hidden under the hem and too short for the button to go through. It never had to pass a quality control. But I decided that with the sleeves buttoned up, it would still be too much of a hassle to put it on. I want to keep it open like a real raincoat. But if I wanted to button up the sleeves, I would have to cut and sew a new buttonhole. So make sure you check the placement when you get this. Otherwise it's a really great coat.
