Purchased to do some basic testing of a generator set up at work. We wanted to be able to confirm actual performance, verify bases, etc. For our purpose, this is great for its simplicity. Turn on and test. That's all. It detects AC and DC current, non-contact AC test, AC contact test and also allows us to test UPS battery if needed. Flashlight is pretty weak, but if you're in total darkness, it's better than nothing. , and it's bright enough that you can see the circuit breaker etc to turn the power back on. The display uses large numbers and is easy to read. The functions are simple and I didn't even have to read the instructions. For the price it's a great bargain and I'll probably get one just like that for personal use.
