Tore the flesh from the tip of the thumb and this combined with the skin glue made a seal that was unbeatable and totally painless to replace. I used glue because it tended to move when stretched, and cut my fingertip and the two together formed a soft, moisture-retaining bandage with a hard shell over it that acted like a false callus while my finger healed. No air meant less pain and no fibers meant no sticking when it came time to change the dressing. This is now a must have in my first aid kit.
