Beautiful adorable waist belt! Slight bones in the upper part of the quarter prevent rolling. Probably perfect for those who don't carry much of their weight upwards (ribs and up). If so, you may need something with underwires that go deep into the garment for better support. This is an excellent compression underwear with moderate compression. Five rating! It's nice and snug (think upper body compression socks) and doesn't restrict movement like other more corset-like tops with zippers and underwires. You can still bend, stretch, eat and live your normal life 100%! Not yet visible under t-shirts or under dresses. It slides up the body (with a little wobble, but not hard at all) and mostly just rests on the edges or on top of the bra. They might be a bit lower for someone taller (mine is 5ft 4in), but I don't see any loss in quality. It's a thong! The thong area is made from a lighter version of the same material as the waist area. If you're not an avid thong wearer, this may not be the ideal purchase. I was concerned reading some of the other reviews that it was impractical. I did not think. These are straps, they feel elastic. In fact, I prefer the thong to prevent them from going up thighs without heavy bones because it would definitely be better without them! The lack of compression clothing is ideal for hot weather, but I lived a day in the 80's to the fullest. Sun without feeling weak or sweating more than without it. Fits true to size! I wear size 10/12, I ordered a large, it fits perfectly.
