Review on Basting Tape Double Faced Yard Painting Supplies & Wall Treatments by Doug Hinrichsen

I have used Sailrite Miracle Tape and Seamstick in the past. I like the seamstick but didn't want to pay for shipping just one item so I went with that option. I sew velvet pillowcases together with a linen pillowcase and this binding tape worked great. I've used it for sewing seams and sewing in zippers. Velvet is a tough fabric to put tape on, but I've had no problems. I don't (usually) glue where I sew, so I had no problem with the needle. The only complaint was the quality of the paper you tear off: it sometimes tore when pulled away from the adhesive, but not critically. I'll start using this more often (pens are a pain) - it's such a cool tool!
