I ordered this iPad SmartCase to replace my 3rd and 4th generation. I was blown away by the cost of the Apple SmartCase for older iPads. I took a chance with this, but figured that even if it's a bunch of shit, it's only $12. Well, my iPad just snapped into place like it should. All ports are aligned, the magnetic cover covers the screen and folds into a small stand that looks decent. The only real issue is that the case on the iPad just snaps in place with two small patches on the left side, while the right one snaps in place with a large snap patch that catches the edge of the glass/frame edge. In fact, however, its main function is a kickstand and minimal protection when closed. So on those two criteria, it works great and is almost a direct clone of Apple's $60-less smart case. If there was an Apple logo on the back, it could almost pass as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). So buy an Apple SmartCase for $70 or get 5 of them. No, it's understandable.
