The side zip for the laptop compartment is a terrible design choice.
Zipper on the side, not on top. Once I was in a hurry, distracted and didn't have time to zip up. Right now my $1900 laptop is in a sorry state with scratches, dents and a cracked screen. Thought I would be careful and remember to zip up. But it only lasted two months and once forgotten.
