I'm a student and a blogger. I was looking for something very fast that would allow me to multitask throughout the day and not slow down when many tabs are open for my research. In general, the computer is fine. Pros: The interface is very intuitive and meets the requirements. with standard PC design. It was easy to adjust my settings and the screen is great. The screen resolution is fantastic, as is the keyboard setup. The computer's screen size and weight make it very portable, which is a big plus. I also like that it has what I call a 'regular' USB connector so I don't have to worry about a converter. Fur: Battery life is okay. I have enough for about 6 hours of active use. Honestly, I thought it would be better, but it's still an update to my Surface Pro 2 that I've drilled through to the bottom. Only 1 USB port. That's all I need, but might be a bummer for others. Cons: My main complaint has to do with computer responsiveness. I often right-click Word or another program and expect it to bring up my recent documents. Sometimes yes sometimes no. Drag e-mails to different folders with the mouse pad? Sometimes yes sometimes no. Click once on an app at the bottom of the screen to bring it to the front? Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to collapse everything else to see the right program. I've never had a computer this systemless when it comes to reliability and this lag and inconsistency is driving me nuts. If it just wasn't available I'd find a workaround, but the sudden appearance of things not working that seem to solve themselves at an indeterminate point in time is the worst. Considering the price and the features I used, I honestly expected the trail to be more bang for my buck. I would recommend going with the Surface Pro for the lower price.
