Assembly is time consuming and you will probably want to use a drill for this. must be found, placed and drilled. There are a lot of parts and it takes time to check with directors and parts lists and get it right along the way. And even at the end of what took over an hour of very slow and careful assembly, the end result looked nice and solid, but one of the doors looked a bit hung compared to the height of the door next to it. Although my doors looked a bit uneven, there wasn't a good way to fix or adjust them without worrying that the remodeled door wouldn't be strong with the extra holes drilled so close. I also didn't like that the back is in two pieces. I'm sure it's probably due to the size of the box used for flat packing, but the end result is a large seam on the back which was unexpected and didn't look good. one of the back panels that when removed peeled off all the paint on a huge square. Unfortunately this sticker was facing inwards so when I open my closet I see peeling paint on the back of the closet. I think I would advise you to make sure the sticker is facing the back you want to secure and not the inside of the product and be more careful when removing it. it, and how functional it is. We have a messy house with a lot of kids, and it helps to hide all the kids' shoes and even some of Mom's accessories by the door we leave the house through. I like that the shoe storage here when used in this way is hidden rather than open as it looks cleaner and tidier when hidden. Once assembled it's pretty solid so I can move it around et cetera, but I really wish you could still tell by the unevenness of the doors and the way they feel that this is a flat piece and not a hard piece bought at the furniture store. I had no temptation to get more of it any time soon. All in all I would recommend this.
