I prefer simple softgel cases like these for the iPad to bulky and chunky cover/back/stand style cases. This one is pretty good, but I'd like it to be matte or matte (rather than glossy). and the edge of the lip is too thick. But compared to other similar gel cases, this one is better with full edge coverage even in the charging magnet area, while others have a cut-out for the magnet that doesn't hold it as tightly. In this gel case, the material above the magnet is actually thinned, so the pencil can still be charged and recharged through the case. However, if like me you use a sleeve on your pen, the sleeve and case combo is just too much charge transfer material - curious I can still get the pen with the sleeve to snap into the magnet area, just not taking responsibility.
