This is a good lamp!: New lighting
Seems to work well and is a good size for the price. I'm not sure if it will cure cancer, depression, or any of the other absurd health benefits it claims, but it gives off a calming, warm glow. The salt itself gets a little warm from the bulb (that's the point, so the ones that come with LED bulbs make me scratch my head), but it never gets too hot to touch. You can buy replacement bulbs (e.g. for night lights or household appliances) easily and cheaply in the grocery store. I keep it in my bedroom and usually turn it on when I watch TV so I can see enough to move without the light distracting me from the TV.
