I had a German shepherd, she likes to bark and annoys the neighbors. And my guide dog doesn't like it, my other two dogs are quite cold. What I didn't like was the flimsy cord that isn't actually attached to the birdhouse but falls off. It's just thin plastic and two small L-shaped pieces that go under the roof on each side and are only able to hold it by gravity. The dog pushes it off the bird house and the ropes are gone, I just got a new privacy fence that didn't want to put holes in it to use the screw which is very short. The bird house really works. I don't know how the battery works yet because I just got it, but I don't think it's waterproof because the back door slides out very easily. So I didn't order another product because once the water got in there it was spoiled and the product reviews didn't mention how cold you can use this product. I'd probably give it five stars if the birdhouse actually attached that rope to attach it to the battery door, was more airtight, and worked under 40°. Now the free whistle is a real dog whistle, you can't hear his whistle, it's silent, it was such an annoying sound. You could go and buy one of the cheap dog whistles or I would say baby whistle that they like to blow into, that could be at risk. If they fixed everything I would give it five stars in my house, it deters my dogs from barking but punishes those who don't bark.
