Review on πŸ–ΌοΈ ECOBRT Modern LED Picture Lights - Brass Finish Artwork Display Fixtures, 16.54" Inch, 9W, Plug-in & Hardwire Connection, CRI80+, Swing Arm Design, 560Lm by Craig Sethuraman

Good size and quality for the price but badly in need of a touch.

There is nothing better than the price for a picture light of this size. I was concerned about previous reviews saying it was too bright ("runway light") and cold. It's not too bright if you're trying to light a large piece of art. In fact, the light narrows fairly quickly before reaching the bottom of my 24" print. What is bright is a real lightbulb. It's annoying and really needs shade. Similar lamps with shades cost five times as much, so I made one out of $10 cork wood and some spring clips. Works great - still illuminates my image without blinding me when looking in that direction. I strongly recommend the manufacturer to add one. Another complaint concerned the color. This is a 4000K bulb. As an artist and designer, I wouldn't want anything warmer (lower K number). All the lightbulbs in my house run in daylight (5000K or so), so I didn't find this light particularly cool. This allows for accurate color reproduction of my work, which is my priority. When using soft white bulbs (2700k), it can appear "blue" in comparison. Well the light moves in different directions to find the right angle and it was easy to install (plugged in, not hardwired). My only complaint was the lack of tint, for which I deducted a star for the ease and nature of the installation.
