This is a great set with great accessories but unfortunately the wax is terrible. Applicators and my favorite accessory, large and small paper liners. They keep the wax melter clean and make cleaning easier, and can be reused (if only for yourself) as the wax washes off clean. The wax itself is terrible. I tried "honey" and it seemed to melt forever at over 250 degrees. I say "apparently" because there was a thick layer of gooey stuff on top that never melted, leaving a wax with a gooey, viscous texture. I've never been able to achieve a "smooth, syrupy, viscous" texture with this wax. Nevertheless, I tried the wax. Everything went well, but there was almost no working time. I applied it in thin strips with a silicone applicator and despite the texture it worked well. In addition to its viscous texture, this wax was quite sticky and liked to drip off the applicator. However, I was able to complete the removal procedure and it really worked for hair removal. It was firm and pliable enough to pull hair out gently enough, leaving only fine hairs, but left a lot of residue that I found terribly difficult to brush off. I have not tested the wood applicators as I have not tried them. I've been looking at wood since I got my silicone applicators. It just doesn't make sense. So 5 stars for the accessories and 2 stars for the wax. Overall: 3 stars. While I love the accessories, you can get them elsewhere and still need a different wax. Not recommended.
