Surprisingly, it worked mostly as is

Check the information, open a computer or search google: This item requires "M.2 NVMe Key M-Slot". Don't know what it is? This is a special interface available on most modern laptop and desktop computers that offers high data transfer speeds. You want to make sure you have a slot on your computer that can accept this. Don't try to use an SSD enclosure adapter that accepts M.2 NVMe Key M slots, the problem is where the port is located in the computer. Accessing via and USB-C/USB3.0 which I guarantee your SSD adapter will NOT cut it. 'Cause I tried Ему нужна полоса PCIe, и не все USB-C это делают (Thunderbolt 3/4 делает, но это не все USB-C: я тоже пробовал Razer Core X, но для этого требуется Thunderbolt 4, который есть у моего USB-C. No). The Acer Aspire 5 in the photo has an M.2 NVMe Key M slot dedicated to the SSD, but with coax cable (read: I had to move my installed Windows NVMe SSD into the case to make sure the ADT link had to be plugged into its place, it refuses to boot once) and several reboots, I managed to get it working. However, my laptop didn't recognize anything plugged into the M.2 slot on the first successful boot. On the second boot, the GPU was finally recognized and the AMD driver installer was able to continue. But now it easily sends the display information to an external monitor if I so choose, or just use the internal display without connecting an extra HDMI cable. back to the laptop (obviously it doesn't work that way). For reference, setup/hardware: Laptop: Acer Aspire 5 2021 Intel Core i7 11th gen 1165G7 (2.80GHz) Win 10GPU: Asus ROG Strix RX 6600 XT PSU: Old Duro 400w max, made 10-15 years ago, has not even a 24-pin ATX, but only a 20-pin, thankfully the extra 4-pins aren't really needed on this ADT-Link M.2 NVMe Key M PCIe3. 0 x4 lifting rope 50cm
