Review on Natural Stone Pebbles Vanity Tray For Bathroom, Kitchen, And Countertop Soap Storage by Terry Reed

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A Tray's Unique Aesthetic

This tray, in its several versions, is likely to be something you're unlikely to have previously seen. Plenty of small pebbles are immersed in transparent resin. For the "black pebbles" version, the dark stones conceal four small circular black pads that slightly elevate the tray above a surface. The pads blend in with the dark pebbles and aren't noticeable. Some reviews note that, with versions that have light-colored pebbles, these small pads are discernable. The tray's rim is shallow, meaning that it can't contain within its perimeter anything that protrudes a bit up and out.An iPhone 7 (5.44" by 2.64") snugly fits into the tray, with gaps for fingertips to remove the phone. The width of a larger iPhone XR (5.94" by 2.98") will precisely fit within the tray, but the top of the phone rests atop the rim. That's okay; this tray has become the repository for the XR when it's recharging. One nice thing about the tray's description comes from Jennie, founder of the Oyamihui brand. She notes her love of nature and her affinity for pebbles and stones as a bonding with the Earth. People who've gathered eye-catching stones and seashells along the shoreline will immediately identify with Jennie's credo.

Pros
  • Holders & Dispensers
Cons
  • The tray may be difficult to clean due to the crevices and unevenness of the pebbles.

A lot of the decorations in my home are things I have found in nature, so this fit in pretty well. looking at it, I imagine standing by a river, watching the cool water flow by. I actually put some water in this dish with some tiny picked flowers, and it looked beautiful. My cat thought he found a new drinking source and helped himself. I wish they hadn''t put the little foam feet on the bottom of it so I could have turned it over and used it both ways.
