I bought this to use with canon sl3. I didn't need this for the big ring lights as they are pretty sharp and I haven't seen a lot of feedback from people using this for a camera mount but I got it anyway. I have a fairly heavy lens so I was a little worried it wouldn't hold the weight but it works really well. I switched from a bulky tripod in the corner of my desk to this one and it looks ten times better. Now I can place the camera behind the monitor instead of to the side. In my opinion this is a must if you are streaming via dslr. Tripods need a lot of space!
