Thought it would be the same as white sticky glue but it doesn't work that well

Unless you want flimsy glue that doesn't stick well, don't use it in your crafts. What's special about it is that it's clear. The glue is very watery and not thick like regular white sticky glue. Because it's so wet you have to keep it much longer to dry. (This is terrible for flimsy/thin crafts. I've used corrugated paper and if the paper gets too wet it starts to tear and break). Expect the same quality as regular pressure sensitive adhesive but only in the clear version you will be very disappointed with this product.

I used the tacky glue to hold appliqué wool pieces in place while I hand stitched pieces.
