Too easy to remove for a small child. When my little one found that he could just grab the safety handle by either hole and pull to break it, that was the end of these things' effectiveness. They break too easily. My son is only 2 years old now (August 2020) and we had to stop using them, maybe around Christmas I think. He got it incredibly fast. He was also able to easily figure out how to unscrew the cap and properly disassemble it. I wanted them to work, loved the fact that you didn't have to be a goddamn octopus to put a guard on the handle. (like you do with old-school models that "slide" on the handle). My child is very smart. Very smart and learns very quickly. Clearly. If your child (or adult) what you want to use. on the other hand, NOT so smart, quick-witted and/or not particularly skilful, then you can get by with it.
