Overall this was a fantastic camera for my child. There's a lot to like and a few things I wish were better designed. Advantages: 1. It can withstand hits. My daughter has dropped this multiple times on our hardwood floors, tiled kitchen, and concrete by the pool. As long as it holds up like a champion. 2. Waterproof and fun. I was specifically hoping it would actually work in the pool and didn't disappoint. Not 100% sure if a strap is even needed as the camera floats on its own. Maybe in a lake or somewhere else when there is more movement in the water does it sink without a harness? 3. Pretty solid camera and photos. It actually takes pretty good photos, has a lot of fun features like color isolation, and the screen on the back is super bright. Cons: 1. Maneuvering through the menu is pretty inconvenient. The UI is pretty terrible, but manageable. Since I use cameras all the time, it wasn't hard for me to figure it out, but it feels like it was developed 10 years ago and hasn't been updated since.2. Cinema but no sound? I just started making a video of it for fun but there is no sound on the playback. I am not sure if this is due to impregnation or if there is actually no sound.3.
